I finally got my vines in the ground this past weekend. What a relief and a great sense of satisfaction. My wife hasn’t said anything, but I know she is glad they are in. I’ve really been pushing my luck out there the past three months. I started working on the drip system tonight. I [...]

Baby Activity Logger has been our best selling app. There is a competing app that has a subset of our functionality but is more expensive. I’m not sure how well that application is selling but it was first to market and probably doing a little bit better than ours. Our sales have remained fairly steady [...]
Me and another guy from the NerdTown crew went to the San Diego iPhone Developers meeting on Wednesday night in Carlsbad. It was great to meet other people working on apps and going through some of the same struggles. The biggest thing I took away from the meeting is that nobody really knows what the [...]
I had a friend come over and help me dig holes last Saturday afternoon. We used a two-man auger and it was brutal. So many damn rocks in that dirt. While digging we actually found an expended old blasting cap. I had to ask myself how grapes are even going to stand a chance growing [...]
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0409459/ My reaction: It was good. Worth mentioning: Perfect guy movie. Lots of action, tasteful boob shots, and a great soundtrack. We’ve got another iPhone app out. Baby Activity Logger. Great for tracking what’s going on with your baby. You can get it here. http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=304562986 Or just search for nerdtown on the app store. We should have a couple of more out in the next week or so.
I started working on rock mulching rows 3, 4, 5, and 6 in the evenings after work this week since we have more daylight. Here are a couple of pictures. The sun was setting while I was up there so I took a picture of the view I will have from row 8.
I have been completely consumed with iPhone development. It is just so much fun. I haven’t been watching any movies or updating this blog. The vineyard is coming along though. I will be digging 40 holes this weekend and hopefully planting a day or two after that.
